TranslateLive Named One of World’s Top 100 Resilience Solutions Out of 740 Entries from 70 Countries

It’s not every day that a product is deemed one of the most innovative top 100 resilience solutions in the world, but that’s just what Leading Cities concluded about TranslateLive’s Instant Language Assistant (ILA)! From over 740 solutions submitted from over 70 countries, judges in the 2024 QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge deemed the ILA worthy of progressing to the final stage in its ultra-competitive, world-renowned competition.

The QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge is open to global entrepreneurs who have developed pioneering ideas to tackle risk, equity and sustainability challenges in urban environments. “The QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge’s reach discovers global solutions to real issues in our communities,” said Mike Lake, founder and CEO of Leading Cities. The Smart City Track winners will receive up to $150,000 in prize money to fund a city pilot project. Click here to see the list of the Top 100 2024 finalists

The dual-sided ILA Pro device allows people to have natural back-and-forth conversations in 250 different languages and dialects, spell out loud, type, or use American Sign Language (ASL) or Braille, and the entire conversation is immediately communicated to the other party in their chosen language. It is the only suite of translation and communications products that eliminates language and disabilities as barriers to communication to facilitate accessibility for everyone, everywhere.
